A series of fly fishing courses are being offered again this year through the Community Schools. Tony Soltys, president of the Raincountry Flyfishers, will be instructing the courses, which will feature hands-on fly tying and casting.
Anglers in the Cumberland Valley tend to be relatively traditional in their endeavors and winter fly tying is one of those grand traditions. If you want to take your fly fishing to the next level, learning to tie your own flies is the logical step in toward that goal.
