HONOLULU - A humpback whale rescue team is looking for a whale off Hawaii that is caught in fishing lines. Jeff Walters, the marine mammal branch chief at the National Marine Fisheries Service, said Friday the gear could kill the whale.

Mild water temperatures have sparked some great fishing

Because of the warmer weather we've been having, captains are fishing spring areas and catching trout, redfish, and even a few snook. Greenbacks have also hung around all winter in deeper waters near the bridges and markers. The result is that bigger fish are being caught with live bait.
