It was the perfect night to fly-fish. It was a few days past the new moon, so it wasn’t totally dark, and a light but constant wind was coming in from the southeast to keep the bait against the shore. Fishing Report for May 5
Trout fishing in local lakes has been good and should improve with warmer weather in the forecast. On the saltwater side, sounds like the halibut fishing is off to a good start in the Strait of Juan de Fuca.
